I'm about to book this manatee hammock campground but I have few ????
Where u put your gheenoe while u camp on your tent? Is waterfront camping availiable?
Does it have a boat ramp to launch in the campground area?
Does tent lots provide alots of shaded area to stay cool?
I looked up on the internet and all but doesn't provide enough info.
If u have any advice or good spot to camp then PM me or pose here.
Thanks.

You can put it on the trailer and keep it in your campsite. They don't like you using the water to clean your boat or flush the motor.
If you have a campsite on the north east side near the water there is a cove over there thats semi protected if you want to leave your boat in the water.

yes its next to the pier on the south side. Its paved but very shallow. Fine for Gheenoes but won't handle anything bigger.

Its a very well shaded park. Try to get a site in the north east corner. you will be right next to a pavillion where you can get out of the rain if there is any. Its also fairly close to the bathrooms.

Manatee Hammock campground was awesome! My wife and I had a blast last weekend. Our camp site is #146 with plenty of shaded area and room. Very friendly people and very clean clean bathroom and showers. We loved swam in a big swimming pool after we went fishing in the mornings. The small paved boat ramp is very shallow to launch but it's no plm for my NMZ to launch it there. It's really nice campground. I will post some random pictures sometime.
We'll be back for sure! I highly recommend whoever wants to go Manatee Hammock Campground. 2 thumps up! |

| Way too big for our group. We have had a mini rally there in the past with about 15 - 20 people. It was a good time. |
