| finally got my compressor working and now its DA sander time! finally i it will be a bit more easy. im going to try to have the inside of the boat finished except for paint by this weekend. Then the i will be working on the outside which shouldn't be too hard. ill post pictures of the finished nose cap later, i still have a few more coats of the uv polyester to do. but it looks alot better then with the regular resin. |

first layer of this poly/acrylic uv resistant coating. i sanded it with 120 grit for the first coat will be going much finer on the next few coats.
will be posting more pics of the next coats when i finish them.
going to be purdy!! i think before i put on the next coats im going to put a g-loomis fish decal under the next layers. do you guys think that would be cool or i should leave it plain. |

although the G Loomis decal is cool...I like the one on this link better...more aggressive, and you see less of them out there...scroll down to the white vinyl one at the bottom of the page

| WOW! This project is great. I just bought a 15'4" highsider today and will soon start this exact process. I am very eager to see how yours turns out. Good luck and keep these pictures coming. This thread will be my go to until I finish my highsider. |

| Looking great! I am wanting to build my gheenoe just like yours! I have a question, How did you construct the NMZ style gunnels? did you make a laminate like and then fill the void with foam? or did you pour foam, and then glassed over it? I just ordered all of my epoxies and cloth and I cant wait to get started! |
